PlayStation: 3 Ways on How Sony Should treat PS4 after the launch of PS5

#3 Support PS4 PRO till mid-life cycle of the PS5

God Of War.
God Of War.

It's hard to imagine that Sony will be supporting the standard PS4 and the PS4 slim 2 years from now and I can't really blame them because it would lead to less hardware sell of the next PlayStation.

But since PS4 PRO literally just came out, it would be outright unfair for the fans who just bought it, only to be abandon by the company with major support 2 years later.

The PS4 PRO is supposedly twice as powerful as the original and hasn't reached its full potential because of the latter, well that's what happens if you release a mid-generation console. But since Sony has already pulled this move, they better continue it.

The most optimistic thing to be done is to keep releasing the games( especially the exclusive titles) till PS5 reaches its half-life. Just like when the PS4 PRO was released for the PS4.

That means PS4 PRO will also get to have a life cycle of 5-6 years which I believe is more than sufficient for the users to fulfil their money, and maybe Sony will supposedly release PS5 PRO by then which will be for these specific users who just abandoned their old one.

Sounds legit?

What are your thoughts regarding this entire situation? Should Sony support the PS4 PRO as well as the original PS4 going forward? Tell us in the comments down below.
