Sony's Game Streaming subscription service, PlayStation Now has added several new games to their catalogue for February. If you are a PS Now member, these games will be available and ready to play. There are over 750 streamable titles, including 275 of them for the PS4 (but you won't be able to get access to these games if you were not previously a member).

10 new games have been added to the PS Now Service:

  • Battlefield Hardline (PS3)
  • Earth Defense Force 4.1 (PS4)
  • F1 2017 (PS4)
  • Magicka 2 (PS4)
  • Metal Gear Solid HD Collection (PS3)
  • Metro Last Light Redux (PS4)
  • Mortal Kombat X (PS4)
  • Need for Speed Rivals (PS3)
  • Pillars of Eternity (PS4)
  • Rebel Galaxy (PS4)

Interestingly enough, the PS3 version of NFS Rivals was added instead of the remastered PS4 version. Metro Last Light Redux is the predecessor to the new upcoming Metro Exodus. Metal Gear Solid HD Collection is a remastered port of the previous Metal Gear Solid games, all of them from 1987 to 2010 (this doesn't include MGS 4). Mortal Kombat X is the 10th Mortal Kombat and one of the most popular iterations of the game.

The PS Now Service allows players to stream games (play without downloading!) on your PC. The service includes games from the PS2, PS3 and PS4 era. Games can get a bit blurry while streaming since PS Now supports a max resolution of 720p. But for PS4 games, you can download them straight and play it like how the game was made.

The PS Now streaming services is currently only available in a few countries: Austria, Belgium, Canada, France, Germany, Ireland, Japan, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Switzerland, United States, and the United Kingdom. Sony has already announced plans to launch PS Now in other countries, but it will be a while before it is available globally.
