The news for gamers became worse as there were about 13,000 people whose accounts were hacked and their username and password combinations were revealed. Before this unpleasant event, it was the PSN and the Xbox live going offline and staying shut for almost 3 hours.
The PSN network was almost down for 5 hours. There were many things that were affected like Origin, twitch.tv, Walmart and Amazon including PSN and Xbox Live. News has been that the information was gathered from users directly through spyware and malware.
