It seems that Christmas Eve and Christmas as well wasn’t very “merry” for the gamers as Xbox Live went offline for a short while in the United Kingdom and the PSN went offline for around 5 hours straight. The Lizard Squad, as promised took down both the PSN and the Xbox Live and both have been closed for 3 hours.
There have been reports that for a few people, the Xbox Live is back up but the majority of the people have not been able to get it back on. Things are very similar to that of the Xbox situation with the PSN as well. There has been no respite for the gamers. Infact, PSN users have it worse as it was down for 5 hours and the PSN official site still says that the service is oflline.
We certainly hope that they get back online as soon as possible.
