PlayerUnknown's Battleground Mobile has been doing a great job in keeping its audience and player base busy with new contents.

PUBG mobile recently received an update which was themed on the collaboration with PUBG and Capcom's Resident Evil 2 remake. PUBG X RE 2 update brought a new event mode in which players can play the timed exclusive zombie mode.

The game's Zombie mode takes place in the same old Erangel map of the game. Though this time we got to see some new weather system and a day and night cycle which were exclusive to the mode.

Yesterday the official twitter of PUBG Mobile revealed a video with a pretext "Meet Your Maker". The video enlightens us with the backstory of the zombie outbreak that takes place in Erangel.

PUBG Meet the Maker-Explaining the Story Behind the Zombie Outbreak in PUBG mobile

For most who enter the battle, death is all but certain. Only the most talented can leave with the poultry prize and now the crates have brought a hidden evil.

A cloaked figure toils away, he is the crate maker. One day while he delivers his treasures, crate maker has an eerie feeling that something is off, sensing a dark presence in the horizon.

He returns to find a room in shatters and crates infected. He disposes of the evil in the darkest depths of the sea. "I cannot let others get infected" though his efforts were in vain. A lone crate floats to an abandoned shore. The undead have risen, eyes dead and driven by hunger. The crate maker looks on as the night falls.
