The Forza Horizon franchise has always been pulling gamers into its fandom with its graphics, and FH5 is no exception. Following the footsteps of its predecessor, Forza Horizon 5 set a standard for what racing games could look like when it was released in 2021. Set on the proprietory ForzaTech engine, the stunning visuals of this game are sure to leave gamers in awe.

With updates in 2024, Forza Horizon 5 has improved its performance thanks to FSR2.2, DLSS, and Intel XeSS. These supersampling options benefit players by making Forza Horizon 5 playable on a beginner-friendly PC.

2) In-depth car tuning

The racing game genre has always had two major categories of fans: arcade-style racing and simulation racing. Forza Horizon 5 comes under the latter. As such, the car controls a player is given are quite extensive in range and accurate in depiction.

The settings range from tire pressure, spring stiffness, and wheel alignment to aerodynamics, brake calibration, and differentials. The units for all the tunings options have metric and imperial options catering to the entire community.

Furthermore, gamers can either tune a car completely on their own or download existing tunings created and uploaded by the community in Forza Horizon 5.

3) Community-made Eventlab

Forza Horizon 5 can be defined as a game made for the people by the people due to the community's involvement. Besides the tuning options, the FH5 community gets heavily involved in creating custom events in a dedicated game section called Eventlabs.

Here, players can customize maps, tracks, weather conditions, reward options, and many more, resulting in an outpour of various events to participate in and have fun. Gamers can create and participate in a wide variety of contests that give hours of content even after a player runs out of maps to cover.

4) Seasonal events

Forza Horizon 5 houses a vivid seasonal library that features lots of racing, exploration, and stunt events. Aptly titled Forzathon, the seasonal events feature daily and weekly challenges that reward Forzathon points, which can be used to redeem cars, horns for vehicles, emotes, and wheelspins.

Through further progression in the seasonal events, players can earn cars as a reward upon reaching the threshold for 20 and 40 seasonal points each season, respectively. A season lasts a week, and a series of 4 seasons lasts a month. Upon accumulating 80 and 160 points, players will be rewarded two more reward cars from the community choice that are the highlight vehicles of the series.
