There are over 200 species of animals in RDR2

Rockstar Games has confirmed that Red Dead Redemption 2 will have over 200 species of animals, birds and fish. There are also 19 breeds of horses in the game. Hunting will be essential to Arthur Morgan and the gang's survival as they journey across the world of Red Dead Redemption 2.

Rockstar has confirmed that RDR2 has a total of 50 weapons, most of which are customizable. To break it down - there are 9 revolvers, 4 pistols, 3 rifles, 3 repeaters, 6 shotguns, 3 snipers rifles, 1 bow, 5 throwables and 18 varieties of melee weapons.
