Stalker 2 takes place in a fictionalized version of the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone, the site of a catastrophic nuclear disaster in 1986. While the map is filled with deadly anomalies like poltergeists and other strange phenomena, players have discovered a quirky Easter egg featuring the Weasley family's iconic flying car from Harry Potter.
This time, however, instead of being stuck in the Whomping Willow at Hogwarts, the flying Ford Anglia has crashed into a tree in the world of GSC Game World's first-person shooter.

Stalker 2's unique Easter egg referencing the Harry Potter franchise
If you recall the 2002 release of Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, you’ll remember the unforgettable scene where Harry and Ron steal the Weasley family’s flying car, only to crash it into the Whomping Willow at Hogwarts. Now, it seems like the duo has somehow made their way over to Stalker 2's version of the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone.
To find this Easter egg, head to the northeastern part of the Swamps area. There, you’ll encounter the crashed car lodged in a tree, almost identical to the scene from the Harry Potter film.
The location is a near-perfect recreation of the moment when Ron and Harry found themselves tangled up in the Whomping Willow.
You can find the location of the Easter egg on the map below.
The crash site and the car’s condition seem to hint at the possibility that the two wizards ventured into the perilous world of Stalker 2 to test their magic on the poltergeists or other mysterious phenomena in the area.
This clever nod to popular culture by GSC Game World is a fun addition, with the dilapidated car blending seamlessly into the game's eerie atmosphere.
