Stalker 2 walkthrough: How to complete Assault on the Duga mission

Assault on the Duga is a pivotal mission in Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl. The mission plays out differently depending on which faction you choose, Spark or Ward, offering distinct objectives and challenges. Regardless of the faction you choose, you will share a common goal of neutralizing Monolith forces and ensuring the area's safety, but your methods and objectives vary.

How to complete Assault on the Duga in Stalker 2

If you have chosen the Spark faction, proceed with the following steps:

• Head to the underground bunker, which is located exactly southwest of the Promin CMD Factory. Once there, enter the hatch in the forest and descend into the bunker. Inside, speak with Scar to strategize and prepare for the assault.

• Now, you have to secure the Comm center with the green-uniformed Spark soldiers and kill the monolith soldiers. Make the most out of the fallen enemies by looting them completely.
• Next, locate the large computer in the Comm Center and activate the red lever to restore communication systems.
• Now, you will find the mission marker directed to the Monolith Headquarters. Kill the incoming monolith forces inside the massive room housing the PSI emitter.
• Search for the Monolith Leader near the scaffolding below the PSI Emitter. This enemy is not marked on your compass. Kill the Monolith leader and enter the room with the red-handled door upstairs.
• This will trigger a cutscene, which will blur your vision, and Faust will appear. Defeat Faust and your objective is now survival. Escape from the Duga eliminating all the monolith forces on your way out.
• Travel to the Watchpost east of the Duga radar facility to meet with Cpt. Senkevych’s group.

This will conclude the mission after a brief conversation and take you directly to A Minor Incident.

If you have chosen the Ward faction, proceed with the following steps:

• You will begin the mission, advancing with the Ward soldiers toward the Monolith checkpoint. You have to fight through the initial resistance of the monolith resistance with the Ward soldiers.
• After reaching the checkpoint, locate the portable PSI installation, which is located on the second floor of the red brick building near the checkpoint.
• Now, you have to clear the remaining monolith forces within the vicinity of the checkpoint. Hold your ground and protect the area until Ward reinforcements arrive.

• Once reinforcements secure the area, withdraw safely from the Duga radar facility. Avoid the Watchpost, as it is likely to have been recaptured by Monolith forces.
