You should pull for Sunday instead of Fugue in Honkai Star Rail version 2.7. While Fugue is an absolute unit for BE team compositions, Sunday’s abilities and buffs are far more potent. Meta-wise, the latter is the better option, as this is a gacha game where characters can easily become victims of power creeping.

Sunday is a buffer since he follows the Harmony Path. His abilities focus on boosting his allies’ outgoing damage. But if his allied unit has a summon, it receives an exceptional amount of damage boost than the actual characters. This makes him future-proof, as upcoming characters following the new Path, Remembrance, will be featuring a summon.

Considering Fugue is an exceptional support for the Break Effect team compositions, its playstyle might get power crept in the future, like the Kafka/Black Swan DoT team comps.
