Players are recommended to strategically drop near Monster Camps (marked as purple dots on the map) to gain early levels and get an action-packed start as lots of enemies drop here too.

2) Clear Monster Camps

Eliminating the monsters immediately after landing helps you level up quicker and gain powerful abilities early on. The Monster Camps are easy to clear if all the teammates coordinate well.

You can explore the Training Mode from the Find Match section in the top left of the main menu to test all the Hunters, practice abilities, and learn essential mechanics without facing any real players.

Furthermore, if you are considering starting any new competitive game, there's always a practice or training mode that should be visited before entering a players' lobby.

4) Start with beginner-friendly Hunters

Choose from the following Hunters if you are just starting:

  • Felix: A dangerous frontline with burn damage and easy-to-understand abilities.
  • Elluna: A healing character that features great mobility options.
  • Celest: A controller-type Hunter with freeze damage. She is arguably the easiest character to learn in the game.

5) Understanding Base Camps

You can claim Base Camps easily with your teammates to get healing, armor, and craft brews that help you survive longer on the battlefield. The Base Camps can be destroyed to gain 5,000 Gold and also provide a larger area of vision.

6) Loot Death Boxes for quick upgrades

You can use the Smart Loot System to instantly upgrade your gear from the Death Boxes. This will save a lot of time and boose the chances of your survival.

The Smart Loot System makes you instantly upgrade to higher-level gear in the Death Box of the eliminated player. You simply have to stand near the box and hit the interact button (F by default).

Although the gliding feature is great for traveling long distances in the game, avoiding it in between combats is highly advised. You cannot do anything while gliding and even a single bullet would stun you or eliminate you instantly over the Abyss.

8) Learn the sounds

Learning sounds gives you a significant advantage over others in any competitive game. Understanding the approaching footsteps, Respawn Beacons, and Vault Alarms would help you make the right decision at the right time.

9) Complete contracts

Eliminating Creep Camps helps you level up quicker early in the game. Upon eliminating your first Creep Camp in the game, you get to choose a contract that further helps you with upgrades and XP. You can choose one of the following to start with:

  • Brawler: Defeat three enemies to unlock.
  • Creep Farm: Defeat sixteen Creeps to unlock.
  • Vault Hunters: Open three Vaults to unlock.

10) Hacking Vaults

The Vaults are interesting POIs in Supervive that can only be accessed after completing a minigame. Successfully breaking into the Vaults will reward you and your teammates with rare gear.

However, it would be challenging to do on your own as you may enter the Wisp State which depletes all your health but does not change you into a Death Box. Understanding the concept of Wisp would be complicated for beginners. However, note that being in this state means you are highly vulnerable against real players temporarily.
