The Last of Us Part 2 release date leaked

The Last of Us: Part 2 release date is something everyone is curious to know about. It is undoubtedly one of the most anticipated games on the PS4 and fans are going crazy with speculations of whether the game is coming in 2019 or not.

Apparently, another leak, which was a promotional image from a Peruvian retailer known as LawGamers indicates that The Last of Us: Part 2 is hitting the shelves this October.

A leak earlier this year indicated that this Naughty Dog game would be releasing on March 29, 2019, which was listed by Amazon Italy, though it seems quite impossible as of now.

The Last of Us: Part 2 composer Gustavo Santaolalla also teased the game's 2019 release window by stating that the game would be out "soon."

However, Naughty Dog never release their titles during the holiday season. The summer window is usually their time because it's comparatively less crowded with AAA games. Also, Marvel's Spider-Man released back in September last year. Also, keep in mind that Beyond Two Souls- another PlayStation exclusive title released back in October of 2013. Considering these things, there's indeed a slight possibility of this game releasing in that season.

After The Last of Us: Part 2 gameplay trailer at E3 2018, we haven't seen or heard anything concrete about the game. Sony Interactive Entertainment has yet to comment about its upcoming PS4 exclusive titles which include Death Stranding, Ghost of Tsushima along with of course The Last of Us: Part 2. Since Sony did state that more information will be provided about these highly anticipated titles sometime in 2019, don't expect them to pop out during the summer or anywhere near E3 2019 because Sony won't be making an appearance.
