The Most Anticipated VR Games of 2019

#5 Population: One

Developer: BigBox VR

Platform: Rift, Vive, Windows Mixed Reality

Release date: 2019

Population: One is an upcoming Battle Royale game for the VR. You are probably already sick of the oversaturated Battle Royale market with so many of the good ones available already. VR does not have any standout Battle Royale games yet though.

The game seems interesting because you can build structures (just like Fortnite) but you can also build jetpacks, fling yourself off buildings and use a glider to glide away from danger. It does look like a lot of fun, so hopefully, this is the immersive Battle Royale we need.

#4 Lone Echo II

Developer: Ready at Dawn

Platform: Oculus Rift

Release date: 2019

After their successful titles, Lone Echo and Echo Arena, developers Ready at Dawn are back at it with an immersive VR experience to offer. Lone Echo II features the return of protagonists Jack and Liv from the first game.

Players must venture through the loneliness of space while discovering different alien species for your own research. We can't quite go to space here in reality but with Lone Echo II, you can venture into deep space with this immersive game.
