#1 DOTA 2

DOTA 2
DOTA 2

We all knew Dota will be on this list but the question was where it should be. Well, for me Dota 2 steals the Number 1 spot at this moment. Needless to say, Dota2 has the biggest community and probably the largest active player base. Dota2 also holds the crown for highest E-sports prize pool.

Dota 2 is one of the Top 3 E-sports games and the most complicated MOBA ever created. Not going to lie, Dota has a very steep learning curve. However, Valve is trying to make the game new-user friendly by adding a lot of information in the post-game table and using new updates but it still way more complicated than any other MOBA games around. This is one of the reasons why LoL is more popular than Dota in certain regions.

The game is played on a map where both teams have 5 players who can choose one hero each and jump into the battle. There are Midlaners, Core heroes and support heroes as well as utility heroes. Dota has 3 different kinds of heroes stats wise, Strength heroes, Agility heroes, and Intelligence.

Both teams try to earn experience and gold in the beginning to make useful items that can help them later in the game. The goal is to destroy your enemy's territory and finally the Ancient in the middle. Whichever team destroys the Ancient of the opponent team wins the game. Everything else is the amazing filler of this game.
