Steve Smith is the current captain of the Australian national team across all three formats and the the captain of IPL team, Rising Pune Supergiant.
The Australian started his career as a leg-spinner, but honed his batting skills and became the world No. 1 Test batsman soon after. He is now an occasional bowler and a top order batsman in the Australian team. Smith’s 215 against England in 2015 Ashes cemented a permanent position in the team. He was also the leading run scorer in 2015 World Cup.
