The Outer World is an upcoming story-driven role-playing game from Obsidian Entertainment. Carrying around the DNA of Bethesda's Fallout games, The Outer Worlds focuses its attention in presenting a branching storyline, replayability, interesting diversified cast of characters, dark humour, companions and cool looking weapons to shoot anyone and everyone in the game. The Outer Words is set to re-define the roots of an RPG.

Set in alternate future, where the US President William McKinley was not assassinated by an anarchist in 1901, The Outer Worlds will feature multiple corrupted corporations fighting for power and control. The game's majority of the section will take place on the planet called Halcyon, but there are other areas that can be explored as well.

Unlike other games of the genre, The Outer Worlds won't let you romance your companions which comes as a shock to many. The game is also not an open world game, although it will feature multiple open spaces to explore.

The Outer Worlds is out on PC, PS4 and Xbox One sometime in 2019.
