The level progression in No Rest for the Wicked is very similar to any other modern RPGs. It doesn’t feel very grindy, you can most definitely complete the game by the natural level progression of the main campaign. However, in the higher difficulties, it is recommended to go out of your way and grind for levels a bit.

The early access to No Rest for the Wicked can be completed by the level 17-18. The endgame crucible rewards you with level 21 items. Although the game is currently capped at level 30, to reach the max level you have to put extra effort and time into the game. However, It is not necessary at all to reach this level to finish the game.

As hinted by the developer, the upcoming updates and patches will introduce a lot of new areas, story elements, and new zones to the game. To finish the new late-game areas and story, you may need to be at a higher level compared to 17-18. But even after all these updates, the level cap of 30 may still be enough to finish the game.

The upcoming updates to No Rest for the Wicked will be focusing on introducing Multiplayer and co-op elements to the game. According to the devs, the next big patches will bring a co-op to No Rest For The Wicked. While there is not much information available about the co-op so far, many believe it could be like Baldur’s Gate 3, where players can band together their characters to build a party.

No Rest for the Wicked is currently on Early access and available for download on Steam. But Moon Studios has plans to bring the game to all the major platforms. So far the release on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S has been confirmed.

Although there are no official confirmations, some speculate the No Rest for the Wicked may come to Nintendo Switch at a later date.
