Genshin Impact servers are down because maintenance for the 3.7 update has already started. For those who aren't aware, the servers have been down since 6 am (UTC+8). They should only return in approximately five hours, meaning Travelers can play the game again around 11 am (UTC+8). Note that this estimation does not account for any unforeseen technical delays.
Genshin Impact 3.7 is scheduled to launch at 11 am (UTC+8) on May 24, 2023. For people in the western hemisphere, it would be on May 23, 2023. It is worth noting that the new patch will also bring forth Yoimiya and Yae Miko's character banners, along with some events in the upcoming days.

If this countdown says "Time until the 3.7 update launches," then the time shown below is how long you must wait for maintenance to finish. Maintenance Compensation will reward Genshin Impact players with 300 Primogems at the bare minimum. Travelers must be Adventure Rank 5 or higher to be eligible for this gift.
Players who qualify can get that reward in their in-game mail. It would be wise to accept this gift before it expires in 30 days. Now let's look at a brief preview of what to expect from the new patch.
What to look forward to in Genshin Impact 3.7
Yae Miko and Yoimiya's banners will go live as soon as maintenance ends. Kirara, Chongyun, and Yun Jin are the featured 4-star characters for those Event Wishes. Kirara is a brand-new 4-star Dendro Sword user who can create shields with her Elemental Skill. On a related note, the new weapon banner will also launch, featuring Kagura's Verity and Thundering Pulse as the featured 5-star weapons.
Genshin Impact 3.7 is an update largely dedicated to Genius Invokation TCG. The main event, Duel! The Summoners' Summit!, even includes a subevent where players are given preset decks for dueling. New Genius Invokation TCG game modes will also debut, which include the following:
- Arena of Champions for more PvP
- The Forge Realm's Temper for more PvE
There will also be well over a dozen new cards to use, so duelists have plenty to look forward to in Genshin Impact 3.7 once maintenance ends.
