Why has PUBG Lite not been released in India yet?

Ever since PUBG Lite for PC was announced, excited fans cannot wait for the game's full release. That includes those who used Tencent's Gaming Buddy, an emulator to play PUBG Mobile on PC - though patience is already wearing thin.

The game has been released in five countries so far and can be played on a PC or laptop with low specs very smoothly. With only one map currently - Erangel - more maps will undoubtedly be added in the near future. The game's user interface (UI) is similar to the PC version, while the graphics are also similar to what we'd get from playing PUBG Mobile on the Tencent Gaming Buddy.

A release date for the game in other regions is yet to be announced, though it's obvious that the game will be gradually expanding to new regions while developers fix bugs - which the early beta players report - is inevitable for a game during its early development. Importantly, they will also be strengthening their servers before looking to expand further.

So, why no India release yet?

The main reason why the game has not yet been released in regions like India, is potentially due to the servers and consequent strain that high demand can have. It's inevitable that when the game is released in India, hundreds of thousands of players will be downloading the game - so it's important their servers are strong enough to handle such an influx of their player base at once.

As the developers for the lite version are different from the main PUBG version and mobile alternative, the game's servers will also be different too. With that in mind, the developers will only release the game in India when they feel confident their servers can cope with the demand and hype that an announcement ultimately has.
