Wuthering Waves 1.3 characters and banner phases speculation

Kuro Games has announced that the upcoming Wuthering Waves 1.3 update will release two new playable characters, namely The Shorekeeper and Youhu. The former is a 5-star Resonator from the Black Shores, while the latter is from Huanglong and is a 4-star Resonator. Unfortunately, the developers haven't revealed the characters' Attributes and potential weapon types.

Wuthering Waves 1.3 banners and character release order speculations

Kuro Games has revealed two new characters who Rovers can look forward to in the upcoming Wuthering Waves 1.3 update:

• The Shorekeeper (5-star)
• Youhu (4-star)

Based on the game's original update schedule, the potential release dates of both phases in version 1.3 are:

• Phase I - September, 26, 2024
• Phase II - October 17, 2024

The drip marketing has confirmed that The Shorekeeper is a 5-star character from the Black Shores and is expected to be a Glacio character. Unfortunately, there's no info about her weapon type. It is important to note that The Shorekeeper is the only new 5-star in version 1.3 as of writing, so she will likely debut in the first half, expected to go live on September 26, 2024.

This will also mean that the other 5-star Resonator Convene Event could be a rerun banner, featuring either Jiyan or Yinlin. However, this is only speculation until Kuro Games reveals another 5-star unit for version 1.3.

Youhu is the other new character in Wuthering Waves 1.3. She is a 4-star Resonator from Huanglong and is expected to be a Glacio unit as well. Youhu could be released in either half of the update since she is a 4-star unit. Rovers must wait for official announcements for furthermore confirmation.

Interestingly, @ProjectENKA1 on X claims that Youhu might be a 4-star support unit. Furthermore, according to them, The Shorekeeper is likely a 5-star healer.

ProjectENKA1 is a reliable source and they have a good track record of sharing accurate leaks of different games on X, so the new info on The Shorekeeper and Youhu can be considered credible for now.

That said, this is still only based on leaks and speculations, so the character roles are subject to change.
