Wuthering Waves 2.0 maintenance schedule and server downtime

Kuro Games has officially revealed the maintenance schedule for the upcoming Wuthering Waves 2.0 update. The server downtime will begin on January 2, 2025, at 4 am (UTC+8) and last seven hours, meaning the new version will go live on January 2, 2025, at 10 am (UTC+8). This will also be the game's first version update of the new year and it will introduce a new island region named Rinascita.

According to the official Wuthering Waves X post, the maintenance for version 2.0 will begin on January 2, 2025, at 4 am (UTC+8) and end at 11 am (UTC+8) globally. However, players should note that the exact timings will vary for everyone based on their time zones.

America (January 1, 2025)

Pacific Standard Time: 12 AM - 6 PM
Mountain Standard Time: 1 PM - 7 PM
Central Standard Time: 2 PM - 8 PM
Eastern Standard Time: 3 PM - 9 PM

Europe (January 1 - 2, 2025)

Western European Time: 8 PM - 2 AM
Central European Time: 9 PM - 3 AM
Eastern European Time: 10 PM - 4 AM

Asia (January 2, 2025)

India Standard Time: 1:30 AM - 7:30 AM
China Standard Time: 4 AM - 10 AM
Japanese Standard Time: 5 AM - 11 AM
Korea Standard Time: 5 AM - 11 AM

The new version will be live as soon as the maintenance ends and Rovers can claim Astrites from the in-game mailbox as compensation. If the server downtime is extended due to unforeseen reasons, the developer will issue a notice and provide compensation accordingly.

Carlotta will debut in the first phase, while Roccia is in the second half. Since version 2.1 will be released on February 12, 2025, it is safe to say that both first and second half banners will be available for three weeks each.
