Players have been curious about ways to heal in Zenless Zone Zero ever since its release. The game allows players to explore with parties of three where they can also engage in combat. Taking damage in combat naturally hurts the team's performance and survivability, making healing in Zenless Zone Zero an intriguing topic of concern for new players. Heals become even more crucial for the team when harder combat difficulty is considered.

The latest title from HoYoverse came out on July 4, 2024, and lets players take control of a character to explore the hazardous alternative realms known as Hollows. Zenless Zone Zero is set in New Eridu's post-apocalyptic world, which resembles a futuristic sanctuary with Ethereals having invaded the human realm.

Utilizing Bangboos

No character in Zenless Zone Zero is currently capable of healing allies, but you can heal your Agents by equipping Bangboos. They were created to help New Eridu inhabitants evacuate during the Hollow calamities. Avocaboo and Exploreboo are two Bangboos that can help you heal in Zenless Zone Zero.

Avocaboo has a Skill that allows it to fire healing projectiles at the character currently on the battlefield. If the projectile misses, the heal will stay on the ground for a while. Characters that come into contact with the heal projectile will regain HP. With its additional Ability, if there is at least one Support unit in your party, Avocaboo's active Skill restores 20% more HP and has three more charges.

Exploreboo on the other hand utilizes a Skill that gives the player a random bonus which includes HP recovery, a shield for the character, or an increase in the character's energy regeneration.

With the additional Ability that triggers when your party includes at least one Support character, Exploreboo's Skill gets a boost where it increases the HP Recovery of its heal in Zenless Zone Zero by 30%, the shield generation by 30%, and the energy regeneration rate by 0.04 per second.

How to obtain the specific Bangboos

There is currently no guaranteed way to obtain Avocaboo or Exploreboo other than consistently summoning from the Bangboo Channel using the Signal Search Gacha. This summon-banner uses Boopons, a unique currency that can be farmed for free. It is unknown whether they will be made accessible in the Shop. However, they could definitely end up being one of the top choices for exploration.
