With either side winning the T20I and ODI series, Afghanistan and West Indies battle it out for bragging rights in the only Test, starting on Wednesday. Although this game isn't part of the ICC World Test Championship, both teams would be eyeing a win in Lucknow. While Afghanistan looks to gain valuable experience in the longest format, the Windies would ideally want to recognize their best eleven in the Test format.

Pitch Report:

The pitch should favour the spinners as seen in the recently concluded T20 and ODI series. While the new ball bowlers should get some help early on, the pitch should provide ample turn and will be key in the context of the game. Teams will look to bat first with the conditions being good for batting in the first day or so.

Fantasy Tips and Suggestions:

Wicket-keeper: Shai Hope is the the ideal choice for this slot with the Barbados native in decent form as well. Hope stood out in the ODI series as he scored 229 runs in three outings. While Afsar Zazai could also be opted along with him, Shai Hope is a must have in the side.

Batsmen: Rahmat Shah and Kraigg Brathwaite are bound to feature in most fantasy teams owing to their temperament and consistency. While Ashgar Afghan is also a decent option, Ibrahim Zadran could get the nod after a sensational debut against Bangladesh. One of Shimron Hetmyer or John Campbell could get the nod as well with both players capable of spin well.

Allrounders: Three spin-bowling allrounders are preferred with Roston Chase being a vital part of the fantasy team. The West Indian was brilliant with the ball in the ODI series and is in decent form with the bat as well. Rashid Khan, on the other hand, is Afghan's best bet with the ball. If credits suffice, Jason Holder could also be included.

Bowlers: Zahir Khan is another must have in the side with the chinaman adding variety to the Afghan bowling unit. Along with him, Yamin Ahmadzai is a viable candidate with the pacer capable of troubling the openers with the new ball. One of Jomel Warrican or Kemar Roach should suffice in rounding the team off.

Captain: Shai Hope and Rashid Khan are the front-runners for captaincy. While the pitch should play nicely into Rashid Khan's hand, Shai Hope's previous performances in the subcontinent should hold him in good stead heading into this game. Roston Chase is another viable option along with Ashgar Afghan.

Fantasy Suggestion #1: Shai Hope, Kraigg Brathwaite, John Campbell, Rahmat Shah, Ashgar Afghan, Roston Chase, Rakheem Cornwall, Rashid Khan, Jomel Warrican, Yamin Ahmadzai and Zahir Khan. Captain: Shai Hope, Vice-Captain: Rashid Khan

Fantasy Suggestion #2: Shai Hope, John Campbell, Ibrahim Zadran, Rahmat Shah, Jason Holder, Roston Chase, Rakheem Cornwall, Rashid Khan, Qais Ahmed, Jomel Warrican and Zahir Khan. Captain: Rashid Khan, Vice-Captain: Roston Chase.
