History

The Caribbean boys have had the upper hand in AFG vs WI T20Is, although in a very small sample size. They have won 3 games out of 4. The lead goes to the other team, Afghanistan, in the ODI format. They enjoy a very edgy lead of just one game as they have won 3 games and lost 2. One match was abandoned without a ball being bowled.

T20Is

The Afghanistan vs West Indies in India series starts with the format that had taken place in similar atmosphere. The two teams have contested in India in the 2016 World T20. That was the only game that the Carribeans have lost. These two teams are excellent in the shortest format and will be ready to go up against each other. The series will consist of 3 matches on 5, 7 and 9 November 2019.

ODIs

They will move to the ODI format after a three-day gap between matches. They have played against each other in West Indies, Zimbabwe and England. Both teams have won a game in the islands and one got abandoned. Afghanistan beat West Indies cricket team in both games that were played in Zimbabwe. The latest encounter was in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 in England. The ‘Men in Maroon’ won only two games in the tournament and this was one of those.

The three ODIs in this series will be played on 13, 16 and 18 November 2019.

Only Test

The two teams will be playing a single Test match, which will be the first among them. This Test will not be included in the World Test Championship as Afghanistan is not a part of the tournament. The Test will commence on 27 November 2019.
