After contrasting fortunes in their previous outing in the 2018-19 Big Bash League, the Sydney Sixers are back home and back in action as they are slated to face the Brisbane Heat in what is a crucial match for both sides.

While the Sixers need a win to stay in touch with table toppers Hobart Hurricanes, the Heat require two points to kick-start their momentum and try wrestle for a playoff spot that is looking increasingly difficult with each passing week.

Squads to choose from:

Sydney Sixers:

Sean Abbott, Justin Avendano, Tom Curran, Ben Dwarshuis, Joe Denly, Jack Edwards, Mickey Edwards, Daniel Fallins, Moises Henriques, Daniel Hughes, Nathan Lyon, Peter Nevill, Stephen O'Keefe, Josh Philippe, Lloyd Pope, Jordan Silk, Henry Thornton, Greg West, Ben Manenti

Brisbane Heat:

Max Bryant, Joe Burns, Ben Cutting, Brendan Doggett, Sam Heazlett, Matt Kuhnemann, Marnus Labuschagne, Josh Lalor, Chris Lynn, Brendon McCullum, James Pattinson, James Peirson, Jack Prestwidge, Matt Renshaw, Alex Ross, Mujeeb Ur Rahman, Mark Steketee, Mitch Swepson

Playing XI Updates:

Sydney Sixers:

The Sixers have been pretty consistent with their line-up and should possibly field a similar eleven. Ben Manenti has tailed off since his debut match heroics and could be replaced by the young leg-spinner, Lloyd Pope. The batting unit has done well except for the odd bad day and would be keen to make up for the capitulation against the Renegades with a good show here.

Possible XI: Edwards, Hughes, Vince, Henriques (C), Silk, Phillipe(WK), Curran, Dwarshuis, O'Keefe, Abbott and Lloyd.

Brisbane Heat:

Matt Kuhnemann replaces Mark Steketee with the pacer in line to play grade cricket for his club. The rest of the side should remain unchanged unless and until Vettori and co ponder a change in the batting line-up as the Heat only have five recognized batsmen in the eleven with Cutting slating in at five.

Possible XI: Bryant, McCullum, Lynn(C), Ross, Cutting, Peirson (WK), Prestwidge, Lalor, Mujeeb, Swepson and Doggett.

Fantasy Tips and Suggestions:

Wicket-keeper: Both Jimmy Peirson and Josh Phillipe are batting deep down in the middle order but have done everything that they could have been asked to do.

Either of the two would make a great choice with both of them adept behind the wickets and providing ample fire-power towards the end of the innings.

Batting: Chris Lynn, James Vince, Max Bryant and Daniel Hughes are the ideal set of players to back in your fantasy side. Chris Lynn fell cheaply in the abandoned match against the Thunder, but should come back with a stronger reply on a good Sydney wicket.

Daniel Hughes and Max Bryant have done well but haven't done enough to convert their promising starts to big scores yet. Both of them will be hoping for the aforementioned to happen.

All-rounders: Tom Curran has been sensational with the ball this season and along with that, his batting has propelled him to the limelight with several crucial runs to his name.

Similarly, Ben Cutting has also been given extra responsibility with both bat and ball and he has been fairly successful too. These two along with Moises Henriques are good options to go by.

Bowlers: Mujeeb ur Rahman has blown hot and cold throughout the season and will be hoping to put in a clinical performance along with his teammate, Brendan Doggett.

Any two out of Sean Abbott, Ben Dwarshuis and Steve O'Keefe would suffice in bringing in balance as well as much-needed points to your fantasy team.

Captain: Chris Lynn is the obvious choice for captain but with the likes of Tom Curran and James Vince in the picture, there are ample number of options to go for. Daniel Hughes and Max Bryant are also viable options for captain.

Fantasy Suggestion #1: Jimmy Pierson (WK), Chris Lynn, Max Bryant, Daniel Hughes, James Vince, Tom Curran, Ben Cutting, Mujeeb ur Rahman, Steve O'Keefe, Ben Dwarshuis and Brendan Doggett. Captain: Chris Lynn

Fantasy Suggestion #2: Jimmy Peison (WK), Chris Lynn, James Vince, Max Bryant, Moises Henriques, Tom Curran, Ben Cutting, Sean Abbott, Ben Dwarshuis, Mujeeb ur Rahman and Mitchell Swepson. Captain: Max Bryant
