After morale-boosting victories over Hobart Hurricanes and Sydney Thunder respectively, the Renegades from Melbourne take on Chris Lynn and co. in another nerve-wrecking encounter which is slated to take place on Thursday at the Gabba.

With the Bash Brothers back to their blistering best, they will have their task cut out against a lethal Renegades bowling unit led by Pakistan pacer, Usman Khan Shinwari. This match is set to be a high-scoring one and should be a thriller.

Squads to pick from:

Brisbane Heat

Max Bryant, Joe Burns, Ben Cutting, Brendan Doggett, Sam Heazlett, Matt Kuhnemann, Marnus Labuschagne, Josh Lalor, Chris Lynn, Brendon McCullum, James Pattinson, James Peirson, Jack Prestwidge, Matt Renshaw, Alex Ross, Mujeeb Ur Rahman, Mark Steketee, Mitch Swepson

Melbourne Renegades

Cameron Boyce, Dan Christian, Tom Cooper, Zak Evans, Aaron Finch, Marcus Harris, Mackenzie Harvey, Jon Holland, Tim Ludeman, Joe Mennie, Mohammad Nabi, Kane Richardson, Usman Khan Shinwari, Will Sutherland, Chris Tremain, Beau Webster, Cameron White, Jack Wildermuth

Playing XI Updates:

Brisbane Heat: After two consecutive wins, Chris Lynn will not be tempted to make any changes to the team apart from one possible one. Marnus Labuschagne is not included in the side and could see Joe Burns return to the side. The bowling department is well settled with Mujeeb and Pattinson bowling well at the start of the innings.

Possible XI: Bryant, McCullum, Lynn(C), Renshaw, Burns/Ross, Pierson(WK), Cutting, Pattinson, Mujeeb, Doggett and Swepson.

Melbourne Renegades: The Renegades are without their captain, Aaron Finch but will be replaced by another Australian international, Marcus Harris. Tom Cooper will lead the side in his absence and will hope to come good against a resurgent, Heat side.

Possible XI: Harvey, Harris, Harper(WK), Cooper(C), Nabi, Christian, Webster, Kane Richardson, Usman Khan, Wildermuth and Boyce

Fantasy Tips and Predictions:

Wicketkeeper: Sam Harper is the ideal choice to go with when compared to Heat keeper, Jimmy Pierson. Harper is the highest run-scorer for the Renegades and will be hoping to continue contributing to the team.

Batsmen: Marcus Harris is back for the Renegades and should slot into most fantasy sides. While either of Tom Cooper or Mackenzie Harvey can be opted for, Chris Lynn is a must with his penchant for destruction at the Gabba. Max Bryant has been brilliant in the powerplay overs and would be a valuable pick.

All-rounders: Ben Cutting, Daniel Christian and Mohammed Nabi are all world-class all-rounders and are invaluable with their skill-sets. They have the ability to change the match at any given point of time which is why all three of them have to be opted for. Selecting either of the two would also make complete sense with balance in the fantasy sides given priority.

Bowlers: Mujeeb ur Rahman and Usman Khan Shinwari have been the stand-out bowlers for their respective teams so far. While both bowlers have done exceptionally well with the new ball, James Pattinson and Kane Richardson have done their bit as well with crucial wickets. Brendan Doggett is also a good option to go for in the fantasy sides.

Captain: With form taken into consideration, Chris Lynn is the favourite for captain although allrounders, Mohammed Nabi and Daniel Christian are also viable picks.

Fantasy Suggestion #1: Sam Harper(WK), Marcus Harris, Chris Lynn, Max Bryant, Tom Cooper, Ben Cutting, Mohammed Nabi, Daniel Christian, Mujeeb ur Rahman, James Pattinson and Usman Khan Shinwari. Captain: Chris Lynn

Fantasy Suggestion #2: Sam Harper, Marcus Harris, Chris Lynn, Brendon McCullum, Ben Cutting, Mohammed Nabi, Daniel Christian, Kane Richardson, Mujeeb ur Rahman, James Pattinson and Usman Khan Shinwari. Captain: Marcus Harris
