JP Duminy's fitness is still in doubt with the veteran still said to experience trouble with his throwing arm while fielding. His imminent return to the side could provide a boost to the Cobras fortunes with his experience in the international circuit. Kyle Verreynne is in the form of his life with three consecutive scores over fifty so far and will again be key in the middle phase of the innings. Akhona Mnyaka has proved expensive with the ball but could be persisted with for another game.

Lions

Lions have been frustrated by rain on two occasions and will be eager to hit the ground running on Sunday. Wiaam Mulder's availability is a doubt with the conclusion of the Test series against Sri Lanka. If he is to miss out, one of Lubbe or Ramela could play for the Lions. Rassie van der Dussen and Reeza Hendricks will be key for the Highveld Lions as they seek to win their first game of the campaign.

Fantasy Tips and Suggestions

Wicket-keeper: Kyle Verreynne is in pristine form, making him the obvious choice although the youngster's purple patch could come to an abrupt end with the likes of Beuran Hendricks and Dwaine Pretorius in the opposition ranks. This could only direct towards the selection of capped wicket-keeper, Mangaliso Mosehle.

Batsmen: Reeza Hendricks and Rassie van der Dussen weren't in the scheme of things for the Proteas a year ago as far as the World Cup squad was concerned. Their stellar performances for Jozi Stars and the subsequent ODI series against Pakistan have all but booked their places in the squad. They are must-have players in the fantasy team along with the likes of Janneman Malan and Zubayr Hamza, both of whom made their international debuts just recently. Pieter Malan is a consistent performer for the Cobras and could slot in for either Janneman Malan or Hamza.

All-rounders: Dwaine Pretorius and Jason Smith are the ideal set of players to have in the side owing to their all-round abilities. George Linde had a productive game against the Dolphins and could also be opted for to add more options in the side.

Bowlers: Dane Paterson, Beuran Hendricks and Bjorn Fortuin have proven the worth time and again with imperative performance in the domestic circuit. Paterson and Hendricks have done well for the national side as well making them key assets for their respective teams. Beuran Hendricks could be swapped for the variations of Nono Pongolo, who picked six wickets in an MSL game last year.

Captain: Rassie van der Dussen is in great form over the last year or so with the middle order batsmen proving his credentials in major tournaments including the series against Pakistan. Along with Reeza Hendricks and Jason Smith, Dussen is one of the few dependable options to opt as captain.
