No changes are expected from the Bay Giants with captain, JJ Smuts already identifying a core group of players to work around with. Ben Dunk and Jason Roy will open the batting with a lot of experience in the middle order. In Smuts and Kuhn, they have two players who can pace their innings perfectly. The addition of Ryan ten Doeschate into the line-up bodes well for them with Marco Marais and Chris Morris handling the finishing duties. They have a resourceful bowling unit as well with Junior Dala and Imran Tahir impressing this season with Beuran Hendricks due for a good performance.

Although they have just lost one game so far, Tshwane Spartans have some problems in the batting department. They have been overly dependant on AB de Villiers with Heinrich Klaasen and Pite van Biljon also impressing at times. Their stronger suit has been their bowling with Lungi Ngidi and Tom Curran revelling in the death overs while Roelof van der Merwe has been very good of late with four wickets in his last two games.
