With their semi-final aspirations all but over, Mohammad Hasnain could be given his World Cup debut at the expense of Shaheen Shah Afridi with the rest of the side remaining unchanged. Pakistan have momentum on their side with three wins on the trot and will bank on the likes of Babar Azam and Mohammad Amir, who have started with bat and ball respectively.

The onus will be on Fakhar Zaman and Imam ul Haq, who haven't reached the heights they were expected to scale prior to the World Cup while the spin duo of Imad Wasim and Shadab Khan will hope to be at their best, come Friday.

Bangladesh

If passed fit for this game, Mahmudullah should return to the side while Rubel could keep his place given Mosaddek Hossain's decent form with the ball. Bangladesh have banked on Shakib Al Hasan's all-round performances this tournament with the Dhaka all-round scoring 542 runs from 7 innings at an average of 90.33 while also picking up 11 wickets.

With more than ten wickets to his name, he will be crucial against the Pakistani middle order along with Mustafizur Rahman, who comes into this game on the back of a five-wicket haul against India.

There is something on offer for both the batsmen and bowlers with the likes of Aaron Finch and Haris Sohail scoring heavily whilst batting first. Apart from the new ball spell, the pacers should revert to change ups which could bring in Mustafizur Rahman in to the play. Anything above 250 should be competitive given the conditions and the pressure of chasing this World Cup.

Fantasy Tips and Suggestions

Wicket-keeper: Mushfiqur Rahim is the preferred option with the experienced campaigner already having a notched up a couple of fifties and a hundred to his name this World Cup. While Rahim should bring in some valuable points, his counterpart Sarfaraz Ahmed hasn't been able to score at a quick rate inspite of batting in the death overs, making him a liability for this game.

Batsmen: Bangladesh's premier batsman, Tamim Iqbal has not been up to the mark this tournament and would love to end on a high against a star-studded Pakistan bowling unit led by Amir. Along with Tamim, two of Babar Azam, Imam ul Haq and Fakhar Zaman should suffice while the all-round abilities of Soumya Sarkar could also come into play as the game progresses.

Allrounders: Shakib Al Hasan is a must have in any team with the form he is currently in. Although he is due for a failure with the law of averages catching up, he has already scored 542 runs and picked 11 wickets this tournament and should be able to earn some fantasy points. One of Imad Wasim or Mohammad Hafeez should fill in as the second all-rounder in the fantasy team.

Bowlers: One of Mohammad Amir or Mustafizur Rahman should be picked in the side along with Mohammad Saifuddin and Wahab Riaz, who have justified their selection in the starting XI. Shadab Khan is also a decent option as he gives good value with his all-round abilities while Mortaza could pick a wicket or two in what could be his last match for Bangladesh.

Captain: Tamim Iqbal and Fakhar Zaman are the ideal candidates with both left-handed openers looking to end on a high. Along with them, Babar Azam is also a good option while Shakib Al Hasan's name is sure to pop up in the discussion for captaincy.
