Fantasy Tips and Suggestions
Wicket-keeper: Quinton De Kock has been in great form for the South Africans in the longer formats. He is the preferred option over Niroshan Dickwella although Dickwella could make the cut as well to facilitate the selection of more important players in the fantasy side.
Batsmen: Hashim Amla and Faf du Plessis are the senior most players in the batting unit and should be backed to pull South Africa out of crisis. The man of the moment, Kusal Perera's innings in the match earns him a spot in the fantasy team while one of Kusal Mendis, Aiden Markram or Dimuth Karunaratne would suffice in rounding off the batting department.
All-rounders: Willem Mulder has been brought in to the squad to replace Vernon Philander and could turn out to be a handy (and differential) pick. Along with him, Dhananjaya De Silva should roundup the all-rounder spots.
Bowlers: Kagiso Rabada and Lasith Embuldeniya pick themselves owing to their form and ability to pick wickets at regular intervals. Duanne Olivier has enjoyed a successful return to the South African side with a brilliant performance against Pakistan. He possesses a lethal short ball which could be key to setting up the Sri Lankan batsmen. One of Lakmal and Fernando would prove to be a viable pick as well.
Captain: Kagiso Rabada's record in Port Elizabeth speaks for itself with a ten-wicket haul to his name in the last Test played at the stadium. Along with him, the likes of Hashim Amla and Aiden Markram are also great options for captain.
