The Indian team celebrates after defeating Kyrgyzstan during the home fixture

The Indian football team is all prepped up to play their last match of the Group A fixtures of the AFC Cup qualifiers on Tuesday. The Blue Tigers will take on second place Kyrgyzstan at the Spartak Stadium in Bishkek.

The Stephen Constantine-helmed team has already played five out of six games in the qualifiers, in which they won four and drew one. The Indians have been very dominant throughout the qualifiers, scoring ten goals and conceding only three in five matches. They have maintained a stunning unbeaten streak in the qualifiers so far and will be keen to end their campaign on a high by continuing their sublime form.

India were placed in Group A along with Kyrgyzstan, Myanmar and Macau. With four wins and one draw in the five matches played so far, India have already qualified for the 2019 Asian cup.

The top two teams from each group will qualify directly for the 2019 Asian Cup to be held in the United Arab Emirates.

Since the Kyrgyz Republic have also qualified for the 2019 Asian Cup with 10 points from 5 games, the outcome of this match won't have much impact on the points table. However, for the White Falcons to finish on top of the table, they must defeat India by three or more goals.

Thus in a bid to top the charts, both teams will put in maximum effort to claim victory as this would facilitate them get a relatively easy draw in the group stages of the 2019 Asian Cup to be held in the United Arab Emirates.
