5 Indian Super League debutants to watch out for

Diego Forlan will look to lead Mumbai City FC to glory this Indian Super League season

Ruben Gonzalez Rocha

Rocha will look to draw upon all his experience playing in Spain to lead the Dynamos to glory

The name might not be that familiar, but Delhi fans will be waiting eagerly to watch him play.

The Delhi Dynamos centre-back is a product of the prestigious Real Madrid academy and has 87 caps and 4 goals for the club’s B-side. In fact, he even made four first team appearances before being loaned out.

The Spanish player also has the distinction of representing his nation in the U-16 to U-21 categories, but could not make it beyond that.

He has had a strong career in Spain, having played for the likes of Osasuna, Celta Vigo, Mallorca and Real Zaragoza. Rocha will be looking to form a strong understanding with Anas Edathodika in the Delhi defence.

The Spaniard is Delhi’s second foreign signing and there will high hopes on him to strengthen the defensive third of the team.
