Kean Lewis is an Indian professional football player who was born on 19th of September,1992 in Thane. He currently plays for Bengaluru FC in the Indian Super League as a winger.


In the year 2006, at a very tender age of 14, he was invited for a trial at the Leicester City football academy. 2 years later, in the year 2008 he joined the Mahindra United youth football club and from there he moved to train with Tata football academy in the same year.

Moving to the United States of America in 2010, he represented Fairleigh Dickinson Knights during his graduation course. He represented Houston Dynamos’ under-23 side and had a short stint with the Laredo Heat in the Premier Development League.


He made his professional debut with Bagan playing the whole of 90 minutes against Aizawl which his team won by a 3-1 margin.


Kean Lewis was awarded to the man of the match award only his second game against the Bengaluru FC. Having a great abroad exposure from a young age, he fitted perfectly into the system and is looking for a national call up.


Kean Lewis was heavily criticized by Ranko Popovic for not making any efforts to turn the game around into a winning situation against Bengaluru FC in 2017.


He represented Mohun Bagan in the I-League in the 15-16 and 16-17 editions. He was loaned to Delhi Dynamos in 2016 and now currently is playing for Pune City. Apart from these, he was even part of division teams Houston Dynamos under-23 and Laredo Heat while his stay in the United States.


Kean scored 4 goals,all of which came from representing Delhi Dynamos in 14 appearances.
