A small function was also held at the premises where the club’s forward Bineesh Balan sang an impromptu song for the entertainment of the senior citizens. This was followed by a game and the prize distribution.
Valanka Alemao said, “It was a pleasure for us to be here and bring a smile to the faces of elders who are staying here. We need to do more about our senior citizens and treat them with utmost respect.”
The footballers further distributed snacks to the senior citizens and spend time in interacting with them.
