A great goal to register a necessary win!

East Bengal

Ubaid C.K (7/10): Ubaid made some really good outings and saves, he also gave the millions Red and Gold supporters hope for the I-League this season with keeping a clean sheet. He made two really good saves.

Lalram Chullova (6.5/10): Chullova did a good job to venture forward and create openings for East Bengal. He supported the likes of Yami and then Kromah very well and also did his defensive duties well, even though he faced a few problems from the likes of William and Aidara.

Arnab Mondal (6/10): Arnab looked a bit shaky in the initial stages of the game, but grew in stature as the game progressed. He made some crucial clearances, and tackles. His combination with Eduardo also had a big effect in ensuring that East Bengal came through with 3 points.

Eduardo (6.5/10): Eduardo was a big presence in defense, he was beaten very rarely and made some crucial clearances. His aerial presence was a big boost for East Bengal. He was lucky of sorts too, as a headed clearance of his just went above the bar, and if it would have been an inch lower it could have resulted in an own goal.

Salam Ranjan (7/10): Salam did a good job to keep Chencho quiet. He also helped Danmawia in the attack. Salam was brilliant in keeping Chencho and also tracked back, making sure that Chencho couldn’t get his crosses in. Salam also a good shot at goal which just went agonizingly wide.

Yami Longvah (5.5/10): Yami had undoubtedly the best chance of the game, but failed to get any proper touch on the ball. Other than that, the young midfielder showed some good passes and runs, and his intelligent runs will be something that will please Khalid Jamil.

LalDanmawia Ralte (6.5/10): Danmawia had a good game. From the get-go, his runs seemed to cause problems for the Minerva defense. He did look to venture offside quite often and did manage to score but from an offside position.

Cavin Lobo (8.5/10): Lobo was brilliant throughout the game, right from his goal to his movement and passes. Lobo played his best game of the season so far, and his goal was an absolute stunner. With Katsumi and Amna closely marked, it was Lobo who pulled a lot of strings in midfield.

Md. Al Amna (8/10): Amna returned from an injury and immediately had an effect on the team. He almost always seemed to skip past Bazzie, who was primarily tasked with keeping Amna quiet. It was his presence in the field that seemed to give East Bengal an added boost in the midfield.

Katsumi Yusa (6/10): Katsumi was relatively quiet today, and was seldom given any space. He had problems in finding free spaces and his passes also lacked the usual accuracy today.

Dudu Omegbemi (6/10): Dudu had a big physical presence up front, and did a good job in holding up play up front for East Bengal. Even though he was tightly marked he always looked to muscle his way past his defenders and also kept the likes of Dano under constant pressure.
