After three wins on the trot for Alejandro Menendez's side with eight goals in three games, it looked like the offensive woes of East Bengal have finally resolved.

But the lack of incisiveness and vision upfront was clearly evident from East Bengal as the striker Joby Justin with his withdrawing strike-partner Jaime Colado.

The absence of Enrique Esqueda and attacking midfielder Antonio Dovale in the East Bengal line-up was clearly visible as the East Bengal midfield regularly resorted to long-ball play in desperation after not being able to open up the Kashmiri defence at all.

The wing-play was also below-par from the Red and Golds as both the full-backs Lalramchullova and Manoj Mohammed seldom got any impressive crosses along with Brandon Vanlalremdika and Laldanmawia Ralte.

Although Joby Justin did score to add on to his dream run this season, Menendez has to go back to the drawing room and chalk out new strategies to get the strikers more chances at goal.

As per reports within the Club, Antonio Dovale would soon sign on the dotted lines as an East Bengal Player after the Transfer Window opens on January 1 which would give some respite to East Bengal's offensive and midfield woes.
