Debjit Majumder – 5/10

Debjit is lucky to have good defenders providing him cover as he had one of his worst games of the ISL so far. He may have just conceded one goal and put in a few saves but he looked nervy as he kept leaving his position to deal with loose balls unnecessarily. He was also lucky not to have a spot-kick awarded against him as it seemed like he brought down Katsumi in the first half.

Pritam Kotal – 6/10

Pritam looked defensively strong but over-hit a couple of balls tonight. He stemmed a couple of goalscoring opportunities by making important blocks and even tried to set up Javi Lara for a goal.

Henrique Sereno – 6.5/10

The centre-back saw a lot of the ball tonight and was in the right place at the right time on many occasions. He did well to defend a free kick from Katsumi and made a number of crucial interceptions and tackles. He made a questionable challenge on Katsumi inside the box and was lucky to escape punishment.

Arnab Mondal – 6/10

Mondal looked shaky as a shot pass from him in the first few minutes almost got his team into trouble. He looked more confident after that first mistake as he read a clever backheel from Wellington in the second half. He failed to stop Alfaro’s forward run on two occasions and finally got booked when he pulled him by the hand.

Prabir Das – 5/10

The right-footed left back got caught out on a few occasions especially when NorthEast scored their goal. He also found it difficult to go forward and put crosses into the box. However, he did register a shot on target which was easily saved by Subrata. He was taken off by the stand-in manager at the start of the second half.

Borja Fernández - 8/10

ATK’s captain was unassumingly brilliant tonight. He controlled the pace of the game well from his position in midfield and made important interceptions for his side. He saved ATK from conceding a second goal in the final minutes of the game when he made a spectacular clearance right in front of his keeper.

Stephen Pearson – 7/10

Stephen Pearson gave the ball away in a very dangerous position once Kolkata were leading but did well to recover, block the shot and send it for a corner.

Sameehg Doutie – 5/10

The South African winger found it difficult to make a positive impact on his team’s chances to score and was substituted after the first half. He was also booked for a cynical foul.

Javi Lara – 6/10

Despite Javi Lara’s involvement in the game, he had an ordinary night and had very little to do with either of his team’s goals. He had the chance to deliver a good cross into the box where a waiting Belencoso looked ready to pounce but chose to shoot instead.

Didika Ralte – 9/10

Didika’s introduction to the ATK side today was a stroke of genius as he made the assists for both goals – one, a curling cross into the box aimed at Postiga and the other a cool pass to Belencoso across goal. He delivered a few bad balls and made a few clumsy challenges but that can be forgiven for the contribution he made to the team.

Belencoso – 8/10

Belencoso looked like he was having a bad game. He was angry, clumsy and nowhere near as sharp as he should be. All that was forgotten once he finished off Didika’s pass into the back of NorthEast’ s goal in the 81st minute, effectively taking ATK to the top of the table.

Substitutes

Helder Postiga – 9/10

Helder Postiga had an immediate impact on the game as he came on in the second half. ATK looked sharper while going forward and the Portuguese forward got shots on goal soon after he came on. He scored ATK’s first goal and added more urgency to their attack.

Robert – 6/10

Robert was a good replacement for Prabir and looked more comfortable playing as a left-back. He helped minimise the threat from NorthEast and provided good support while his teammates went on the offensive.

Bikramjit Singh – NA

The midfielder came on for Arnab Mondal in injury time.
