The miners Jamshedpur FC, hosted Kerala Blasters FC at the JRD Tata Sports Complex in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand.

Jamshedpur FC got their first home win this season as they held on in the second half of the match with a solid defensive performance. The home side had gone two ahead in the first half when Jerry Mawhmingthanga scored in the first minute of the match and Ashim Biswas doubled the tally. Mark Sifneos cut the lead down to one in injury time but that wasn't enough as the Miners prevailed.

Jamshedpur FC now rise to the seventh spot in the standings with 13 points from ten matches and Kerala Blasters stay sixth on the table with 14 points from their eleven games.

Subrata Paul (7/10) - The Jamshedpur custodian, who has the most number of clean sheets, in the league had a quiet night with the lack of attacks from the Kerala side in the first half. He conceded a goal late on from Mark Sifneos as Kerala pushed on to cut the lead.

Yumnam Raju (7.5/10) - Raju was a stable presence on the left flank for Kerala as he made a lot of runs in the first half. When Kerala were on the front foot in the second half, he defended well and kept CK Vineeth in his pocket for the most part.

Tiri (7.5/10) - The Spanish centre-back and Jamshedpur FC skipper was a rock in the defence as he dealt with the aerial balls by Kerala attackers with great composure and made many interceptions. He combined well with his partner Andrey Bikey in the defence to keep out Kerala who pressed on in the second half with force.

Andrey Bikey (7.5/10) - The burly Cameroonian defender did well in the Jamshedpur defence as he used his physicality to well use against Karan Sawhney in the box. He had a small knock in the second half but held on till the end as the home side went for the win.

Souvik Chakrabarti (7/10) - The right-back for the home side, Souvik Chakrabarti was a workhorse in the field as he kept running up and down the flank. He made a lot of overlapping runs whenever Jamshedpur attacked on the counter and came back to defend whenever the team needed.

Memo (8.5/10) - Memo was the standout player for the home side as he controlled the pace of the match with his passing on the pitch. He orchestrated the midfield as they defended the Kerala advances and moved the ball around well.

Wellington Priori (7.5/10) - The new signing from Brazil, Wellington Priori played a great complementary role to Memo in the midfield as used his skills and large frame to win the balls on the pitch. He had a good debut game for the Miners

Bikash Jairu (5.5/10) - The winger had a poor night today as he couldn't make many inroads into the Kerala box and was kept quiet for almost the entire duration of the match.

Ashim Biswas (7.5/10) - The former Indian international striker got his name on the scoresheet when he scored at the half-hour mark to put Jamshedpur two ahead in the match. He was substituted in the second half of the match when Mehtab Hossain replaced him.

Jerry Mawhmingthanga (8/10) - The young Jerry scored the fastest goal in ISL history in the first twenty-two seconds of the match as he rounded Rachubka and slotted into the empty net. He was a lively presence throughout the match

Izu Azuka (7.5/10) - The Nigerian striker was a constant threat to the Kerala defence as he made incisive runs into the box. He had a couple of great efforts on the goal but couldn't get his name on the scoresheet.

Substitutes:

Mehtab Hossain (5.5/10) - The midfielder came on for the final half an hour or so and did well to hold the Kerala attack as they pressurized the home side in the second half.

Shouvik Ghosh (5/10) - The left-back replaced Yumnam Raju, who got a slight knock and defended well against Sandesh Jhingan who had slotted in at the right-back position in the second half.

Farukh Choudhary (5/10) - The forward came on in the final minutes as Steve Coppell ran down the clock to ensure Jamshedpur FC's first home win.

Paul Rachubka (6/10) - The Kerala keeper had a rough first half of the match as he conceded twice including the first-minute goal by Jerry. Rachubka had a quiet second half as it was Kerala that did the attacking to get back into the match.

Samuel Shadap (5/10) - The Kerala Blasters right-back had a tough half of play as he was tormented by the runs on the left flank by Bikash Jairu and Jerry. He was replaced by David James at the start of the second half with Nemanja Lakic-Pesic.

Wes Brown (7.5/10) - The former Manchester United defender had a busy night on the pitch as the home side kept attacking the Kerala goal with crosses and through balls. He was booked in the first half and played a cautious game thereafter in the second half but was reliable to keep out the rare counters from Jamshedpur.

Sandesh Jhingan (7.5/10) - India international and Kerala Blasters skipper Jhingan had a decent game even though Kerala conceded twice in the first half. He made a lot of interceptions and was strong in the air. He was shifted to the right-back role when Lakic-Pesic came on at the start of the second half and grabbed an assist when his cross was headed into the goal by Mark Sifneos.

Lalruatthara (6.5/10) - Kerala left-back Lalruatthara was active on both the ends of the pitch for the away side as he made a lot of runs down the flank. He fell back whenever needed as Jamshedpur sat back and tried to catch Kerala on the counter.

Milan Singh (6.5/10) - Milan Singh played a deep role in the midfield, just in front of the defence as he broke up a lot of Jamshedpur counter-attacks. He moved the ball from the back for Kerala as they attempted to get back into the match.

Keziron Kizito (6.5/10) - The young Ugandan had a rough night on the pitch as he got hurt early on in the match. Kizito continued to bear with it and played but soon had to go out in the 43rd minute and he was replaced by Loken Meitei.

Karan Sawhney (7/10) - The former Bengaluru FC man played the lone man in attack for the Yellow Army and was the target man for the long balls by the Kerala defenders. He made a few good runs into the Jamshedpur FC box but failed to have a shot on target.

Courage Pekuson (7.5/10) - The Ghanian was incredibly active in the second half of the match after a lukewarm first half. He facilitated the Kerala attacks and even had a couple of cracks at the goal from long distance but failed to hit the target.

C.K Vineeth (6/10) - The Kerala boy had a quiet game compared to his usual standards as he operated on both the wings tonight but did not have much success on the pitch.

Iain Hume (7.5/10) - The Canadian was the engine for Kerala as he was all over the pitch whenever Kerala was on the attack. He dropped back to receive the ball from the midfield and tried to find the runs ahead of him.

Substitutes:

Loken Meitei (5.5/10) - Meitei replaced the injured Kizito and played on the right wing for the away side and combined well with skipper Jhingan.

Nemanja Lakic-Pesic (6.5/10) - The Serbian centre-back came on for Samuel Shadap and slotted into the central defence and had a great second half. He made a lot of interceptions and was able to keep out the counter-attacking Jamshedpur side with his no-nonsense defending.

Mark Sifneos (7/10) - The lanky Dutchman who came on in the 78th minute pulled one goal back for the Kerala Blasters as he headed in a looped cross from Sandesh Jhingan into the box.
