FC Goa are the final team to enter the playoffs

Jamshedpur FC hosted FC Goa on the final day before the playoffs in the ISL. It was a do-or-die game for both the clubs, as the winner would ultimately qualify for the playoffs. Jamshedpur FC started the game terribly, as the Goalkeeper, Subrata Pal, got a red card within the opening 10 minutes of the game.

FC Goa took advantage of the extra man and went 3 goals ahead within the first 50 minutes of the game. The first 2 goals were wonderfully created for Coro, who scored without any hesitation. The third goal was scored by Lanzarote to finish the game off.

FC Goa's goalkeeper made the same mistake as Subrata Pal and, was sent off in the 74th minute of the game. It was too late for Jamshedpur FC to take advantage of the situation, as FC Goa successfully defended their 3 goal lead.

Jamshedpur FC was reduced to 10-men in the opening 10 minutes of the game

Subrata Pal (2/10) - He's been the best Goalkeeper in the ISL so far. But, he committed a silly mistake in just the 7th minute of the game. He got a straight red and was sent off. Getting a red card that early cost Jamshedpur FC the match.

Y. Raju (5/10) - The full-back had a quiet game and could not do much against the likes of Coro, Boumous, and Lanzarote. He was weak defensively and offensively.

A. Bikey (5.5/10) - He was strong in the heart of the defense and had a decent 1st half, but was poor in the 2nd half. He wasn't confident enough in his passes and, clearances but, showed good aggression in defense.

Tiri (5/10) - The Spanish center-back was strong in defense, but was too aggressive at times. He made a few unnecessary challenges and, got himself a yellow card in the 1st half of the game.

S. Chakraborty (4/10) - Both the full-backs were poor and, ineffective against FC Goa's attackers and midfielders. He was making forward runs in the entire game, but failed to create an impact.

Memo (5.5/10) - The Brazilian midfielder tried to create a few chances in the 1st half, but was not effective enough. He had a relatively quiet 2nd half.

B. Jairu (N/A) - Jairu was sacrificed and substituted in the 9th minute of the game after Subrata Pal got a red card. He hardly had any game time.

J. Mawihmingthanga (4.5/10) - After the red card, Jamshedpur FC hardly created any chances and FC Goa was all over them.

Wellington Priori (6.5/10) - The former NorthEast United midfielder was the only one who was looking to create chances and delivered a few good crosses into the box. But, his passes were not converted by any of the Jamshedpur players.

Farukh Choudhary (6/10) - The young Indian forward was playing on the flanks and looked creative and dangerous on a few occasions of the game. He was probably one of the best players for Jamshedpur FC.

Azuka (6/10) - The forward was poor in the 6-yard box and failed to score on many occasions. He did run in through the defense a couple of times, but, he was very inconsistent in the box.

Substitutes:

Sanjiban Ghosh (5/10) - The Goalkeeper was underconfident on the night and failed to communicate clearly with the defense and conceded three goals. He did make a couple of good saves in the 1st half and, denied Coro of his hattrick with a great save in the 2nd half.

Trindade (5.5/10) - He came in the 62nd minute in place of Bikey. He showed good intensity and speed in a short span but failed to score or assist the team.

Belfort (5/10) - He replaced Azuka on the field in the final 30 minutes of the game. Like Trindade, even he showed good intensity and was moving the ball forward with great confidence.

FC Goa took complete advantage of the extra man in the first 75 minutes of the game

Naveen Kumar (4/10) - FC Goa's goalkeeper was a spectator for the most part of the game. He made a good save in 1st half from an Azuka shot and was compact in the 6-yard box. He got a red card and was sent off in the 76th minute for committing the same mistake as Subrata Pal did in the 1st half.

Seriton Fernandes (7/10) - The right-back was solid both defensively and offensively. He made great runs forward and even picked up an assist for the first goal by drilling a low cross to Coro, who tapped it in to give FC Goa their first goal.

Sergi Juste (7/10) - The center-back was compact in the heart of the defense and did not give much space to Jamshedpur FC attackers. The likes of Wellington Priori and Azuka found it difficult to break through the defense.

Sana Singh (6/10) - The other center-back formed a good partnership with Sergi Juste and, they were both solid in defense. The center-backs helped FC Goa get a clean sheet victory.

Narayan Das (6.5/10) - Both the full-backs were very offensive in their game today. The left-back also made some good runs behind the Jamshedpur FC defense and created some good chances in both the halves.

A. Jahouh (8/10) - He was calm and composed in the heart of the midfield and hardly gave away possession of the ball, and completely dominated the midfield. He attempted a brilliant volley but was unfortunate as it hit the crossbar. Overall, he had a fantastic game.

H. Boumous (7.5/10) - Even though he was on the pitch only for the 1st half, he was passing the ball nicely and was feeding nice through balls on both sides of the field. Boumous' through ball released Seriton on the right flank, who created the first goal.

Pranoy Halder (7/10) - He created a lot of space in the attacking half and was effective on the pitch. He failed to score or assist, but, he certainly did have an impact on the game.

Mandar Desai (6/10) - The Indian winger had a quiet game compared to the likes of Boumous, Jahouh, and Lanzarote in midfield. The winger did make some good forward runs on multiple occasions

Lanzarote (8/10) - The Spanish Midfielder had a great game. He and Boumous created a few chances in the 1st half of the game. He provided a terrific assist to Coro for the second goal and also scored the 3rd and the final goal of the game.

Corominas (9/10) - The Spanish and the former Espanyol forward was prolific and also scored the first 2 goals of the game, and also provided an assist to Lanzarote for the third goal. He also showed excellent vision in his passing and created some great opportunities in the 1st half.

Substitutes:

Edu Bedia (6/10) - He replaced Boumous in the 2nd half. He didn't have the intensity that Boumous did in the 1st half. He was decent enough in midfield and was clinical in distributing the ball.

L.Kattimani (4/10) - He came in the 75th minute of the game Naveen was handed a straight red. He did not have much to do in the game, as Jamshedpur FC did not threaten him much.

Pratesh. S (5/10) - He played the final 15 minutes of the game. He was good on the ball but did not do much in that short period of time.
