The Indian captain scored a spot kick against Kerala Blasters to open the account in the southern derby and was instrumental in the attacking third. The 33-year-old has already formed a decent partnership with fellow striker Miku which bodes well for Bengaluru FC in the matches to come. The Indian with the highest number of goals at the international level has so far contributed with four strikes and an assist. His threat in the penalty box in ISL 2017/18 can be highlighted by the fact that he has attempted 25 shots, most by any player in this season.
