Karanjit Singh (9/10): The Veteran Goalkeeper pulled off the most crucial save when he denied Kervens Belfort from the spot after Jamshedpur FC were awarded an extremely soft penalty. The Goalkeeper from Punjab made crucial saves at regular intervals to keep the Blues ahead.

Inigo Calderon (8.5/10): The Spanish defender was rock solid at the back causing all sorts of trouble for Trindade and Belfort and kept them off the bay.

Henrique Sereno (7/10): The Captain had a good game but for the penalty. He was handy in winning the aerial duels and clearing off balls with his physical stature.

Mailson Alves (9/10): Mailson led the defence and was the key man for the Blues in the midfield both in building up and holding up the play.

Jerry Lalrinzuala (8.5/10): The young defender was extremely agile and alert. His duels with the other Jerry caught the eye of the fans.

Bikramjit Singh (N/A): The former Mohun Bagan man suffered an injury early in the first half and was substituted off. Germanpreet Singh came on in his place.

Dhanpal Ganesh (8/10): The Tamil lad was instrumental in the midfield with several incisive balls as he combined well with Francis.

Francisco Fernandes (6/10): The veteran had an average game, as he was outrun on several occasions by Memo.

Rene Mihelic (8/10): The Slovenian caused continuous trouble for the Red Miners and was also on target on a couple of occasions.

Gregory Nelson (7.5/10): Nelson had an average outing as he was spotted with relatively slow movements as compared to his maximum calibre.

Jeje Lalpekhlua (8/10): The Mizo Snipper was also a menace as he is in Subrata Paul's box, and he scored the solitary goal tonight from the spot. He had few chances to extend Chennaiyin's lead but he squandered them.

Substitutes

Germanpreet Singh (6/10): The man hailing from Punjab had a game, not so rememberable for him, as he was not as effective on the pitch as John Gregory would have liked him to be.

Jude Nworuh (6/10): His introduction to the match slowed down Chennaiyin's game.

Thoi Singh (N/A): He came on late in the game but was effective with his pacy and darting runs in the right flank.
