This was Rino Anto's second start in the ISL and he was brought in mainly because of Dimas Delgado's red card suspension.

Carles Cuadrat had to change his tactics because of the suspension with regular left-back Nishu Kumar playing as a midfielder and Anto playing as a right-back. Rahul Bheke started as the left-back.

However, he failed to justify that start and was slow in catching up to winger Lallianzuala Chhangte on the right flank of the Dynamos' attacking third.

In the 31st minute, Adria Carmona of Delhi Dynamos sent Chhangte through with a defence-splitting pass. Anto was tasked with marking Chhangte and tried to lay the offside trap. But it did not work out and if not for Gurpreet's point-blank save, BFC would have gone down then.

Cuadrat had to swap the positions of Bheke and Anto after that incident.

Anto was subsequently substituted for Erik Paartalu at the start of the second half.
