'Juventus not favourite to win UCL' says Sarri on eve of Bayer Leverkusen game
Juventus head coach Maurizio Sarri urged his players not to underestimate Bayer Leverkusen as they prepare to host the German side in their second Champions League Group D game.

Speaking on the eve of the match on Monday, the former Napoli and Chelsea coach said his team must not think about their Serie A fixture against leaders Inter Milan next Sunday.

"This is such a difficult game that to think beyond tomorrow would be a huge mistake" Sarri said.

As for Juventus being one of the favourites to win the Champion League, Sarri was adamant this is not the case.

"In this particular moment in history, it is very difficult for an Italian team to be amongst the favourites to win the Champions. An Italian team can maybe be amongst those who can aspire to win it, but not be the favourite. The favourites in this moment in my opinion are the English teams."
