Bollywood stars Anil Kapoor, Sonakshi Sinha and Hrithik Roshan visited Real Madrid’s iconic Santiago Bernabeu and the trio had the time of their life getting a VIP tour around the stadium and meeting some of Real Madrid's stars such as Gareth Bale, Luka Modric and Karim Benzema.
The trio are in Madrid to promote the IIFA (International Indian Film Academy) awards which are going to be held in the Spanish capital this year. Between the 24th and 26th of June, Madrid is set to host this prestigious awards ceremony and the trio made the most of their trip by paying a visit to Real Madrid’s home.
Sonakshi Sinha was absolutely thrilled with the opportunity and speaking to Real Madrid’s official website, she said that her friends will be jealous. She also expressed her gratitude to the three Real Madrid superstars who showed her around the stadium.
"The Real Madrid players have been very kind and down to earth. My friends will be jealous because they're big football fans and I've watched many a Real Madrid game with them. It's been a pleasure to share in these moments with these players, who we are so familiar with from having seen them play on the television."
Bollywood is the world’s second most powerful film industry and the stars from Bollywood definitely had a day to remember. They were taken to the presidential box and boardroom and they even posed for photographs alongside Real Madrid’s famous 10 Champions League trophies.
Each of the guests even received a personalised shirt, signed by the players and they even got to have a kick around out on the pitch. For once, even the Bollywood stars were left starstruck.
