Video: Sergio Aguero and David Villa go head-to-head in blindfolded penalty shootout challenge
Manchester City’s Sergio Aguero and New York City FC’s David Villa took part in a series of challenges at Manchester City’s Football Academy. Villa was in England as part of NYCFC’s pre-season preparations.
The contest saw both strikers go against each other in a series of challenges, all of which were to be attempted after both of them had been blindfolded. The events included a penalty shootout challenge. the crossbar challenge and a corner-scoring game.
Both Villa and Aguero have gone head-to-head earlier when they were both playing in the La Liga. The Argentine spent five years at Atletico Madrid, while David Villa played for both Valencia and Barcelona, before ending his Spanish club career at Atletico Madrid.
David Villa, who decided to join New York City FC, scored the first goal in the club’s history when they faced St. Mirren.
