What is the lore behind Adventure Peely in Fortnite?

There is no lore behind Adventure Peely in Fortnite. The character is a variant of the original Peely, and was introduced to help promote the new LEGO Fortnite mode when it first launched in December 2023. That said, the character is yet to be fully realised or even integrated into the storyline. Unlike the original Peely who has helped out during perilous times, Adventure Peely is a more casual snapshot. Nevertheless, Epic Games did put in a lot of effort while designing the character. 

In fact, when compared to the other Peelys that are part of the Metaverse, Adventure Peely seems to be the most jolliest. He has a pair of goggles strapped to his forehead, a scarf around his neck, and wears a bright blue jacket; the makings of a true adventurer. Their official in-game description reads, "Ripe for an incredible journey.” This is likely in reference to the fact that the character is a banana, and also to the fact that they would be the first major character released to promote the LEGO Fortnite mode; wherein players would get to explore a vast open world.

It’s a bit too soon to say anything, but Adventure Peely should be given a role to play in the storyline. Considering how popular Peely and his other variants are, it would only be fitting. The community would love for this to happen.

Should you buy Adventure Peely in Fortnite? It goes without saying that Adventure Peely is an incredibly cute snapshot of the original Peely.
