What is the lore behind Katalina in Fortnite?

Katalina is a newcomer to the Metaverse, and as such, there is no lore related to her in Fortnite. She has a cat-like appearance, which suggests that she could hail from a reality where everything has been influenced by felines to an extent. It may be possible that others such as Meowscles, Meow Skulls and Katt originate from this reality within the Metaverse.

That said, Katalina is yet to be featured in Fortnite in any way. For the time being, she only exists within the confines of the game's files.
