What is the lore behind Serenade in Fortnite?

Serenade is one of the most unique characters in the Metaverse. While her origins are unknown, she shares a lot of similarities with Galaxy Scout. Although they are not related in any means, it would seem that they both hail from the same reality. This would explain the space-themed aesthetics that they both share. However, Serenade is far more colorful and less cosmic-theme than her counterpart.

Having said that, she is also newer and was featured as a NPC on the island in Chapter 4 Season 2 (MEGA). Her official description reads, "Once a lonely wanderer, Serenade gained powerful mystical abilities and now roams the lands around MEGA City, assisting those in need... for a price." What her powers are remains unknown, but it's safe to say that she is powerful in her own right. Perhaps the colors that adorn her serve as warning signs for the same.

As for her allegiances, it is unknown which faction she supports or belongs to. Given that she is imbued with superpowers, she does not need support as such. Apart from this speculation, there is nothing else to mention that warrants merit. Perhaps Epic Games will expand upon her lore in the future, but for now, her role in the storyline is over. She could return as an NPC in the future, but that's left to be seen.
