What is the lore behind Shoto Todoroki in Fortnite?

There is no lore that ties Shoto Todoroki to the storyline of Fortnite. However, the character is very popular in the My Hero Academia franchise. He is the son of Endeavor, who happens to be the number two hero early on in the franchise. Shoto Todoroki has a unique perk which allows him to control fire and ice. His official in-game description reads, “Isn't it a hero's job to save people?” This is what he told police chief Kenji Tsuragamae, after Deku, Tenya Iida, and himself took down Stain aka Chizome Akaguro.
