There is no lore behind Modena Icon in Fortnite. She was introduced to the Metaverse as a collaborative cosmetics in association with Ferrari. As such, she has no role to play in the storyline at all. When she was added to the game, the island was being invaded by the Kymera and The Cube Queen. For this reason, Ferrari-made cars were added to the game to give players the speed they would need to run from danger. Modena Icon’s official in-game description reads, “Embrace your racing soul.” As seen from the description, it builds upon the fact that cars made by Ferrari were built by racing.
